Scottish Deerhound

The Scottish deerhound is mellow, low-key and easygoing. Outdoors, it loves to run and chase anything that moves. Indoors it is calm, but needs plenty of room to stretch on a soft surface. The deerhound is independent yet sensitive. It is amiable toward, but often reserved with, strangers. This gracious breed is good with other dogs and usually other pets, although it may give chase to strange animals.
